Rent Choice’s Clare Christiansen Re-Elected as REIWA Councillor
Rent Choice’s General Manager Clare Christiansen has been re-elected as a Councillor for the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA).
The election, which saw four incumbent Councillors re-elected alongside a new member, reaffirmed the trust and confidence placed in Clare's expertise and dedication. Solidifying her as a key figure in shaping the state’s real estate industry.
Clare said she was excited to continue her work as a REIWA Councillor after first being elected to the role in 2021.
“I am truly honoured and grateful to be re-elected as a REIWA Councillor and looking forward to working alongside all the other talented and dedicated individuals on the Council,” Clare said.
“In the coming term, I'm excited to focus on increasing engagement between industry stakeholders, advocating for a fairer property tax system that encourages growth, and promoting tenancy laws that incentivise investment in our market.” Clare was elected through a voting system open to all ordinary and life REIWA members.
Clare has been deeply involved in REIWA for over a decade, starting with her role on the Property Management Network Committee in 2014, where she has served as deputy and chair during her term.
REIWA President Joe White praised the dedication of the re-elected Councillors, stating: “The dedication shown by these four re-elected Councillors demonstrates their unwavering commitment to shaping a prosperous future for real estate in WA.”
